Tokyo for creatives
Curated and photographed by Crista Priscilla
“Tokyo is undoubtedly an exciting megalopolitan to explore and discover countless of new things. But with so many options and so little time, it’s quite a tricky business to choose what to visit first. I have spent more than five years roaming around the city, checking out every corner in Tokyo to find places that I would want to keep coming back to whenever I need inspiration, or simply to feed my cravings for a creative touch. It came down to these 15 spots — a compiled list of museums with distinctive collections, art spaces that are inspired by and blended with nature, cafes with intriguing interiors and compelling food stories, little shops and galleries filled with local craftsmanship, and neighborhoods where every turn is a cute surprise. Here you’ll find that these places are bearing some of Japan’s eminent and internationally-recognized artists, but also some that are lesser-known and locally-grounded, and yet have become the representatives of the city’s creative progression in this era.”
Format: Digital travel guide (15 places, 47 pages). You’ll receive a link to download the PDF file, optimized for mobile.
