Written and photographed by Ellie Dyduch

Let’s get one thing straight: Cambridge isn’t only about the university and punting. I took my phone and went for a walk in search for more. I was bored of the stereotypical photographs I kept finding on Instagram and around the Internet, as they all revolve around the same buildings and places. How many times can you look at King’s College Chapel?  The majority of guidebooks or travelogues I’ve come across focus on the tourist landmarks, university history, alumni and academia. I focus on something different — the visual aspects and the fairy-tale side of Cambridge. This guide doesn’t mention the obvious sights of the city, I believe that you can google those yourself, but it will take you through the most romantic, secluded, colourful, exotic places, making sure you’re not hungry and you can see all of them within a day. Welcome to Cambridge.
