One line through London

by Mendy Waits

I love London. Don't we all though? I've been living here for 3 years now and find the local side of life much more interesting than any of the tourist sights. It could take you weeks to see all of the best bits of London, but that's not an option for most of us, and changing lines takes too much time!  In an effort to showcase the diversity of the city, I've made a path from east to west. Each place is within walking distance to the central tube line. So you could start early, make a long day of it, and see the variety of neighborhoods at a quick pace. Or it would make a leisurely two day itinerary if you'd like to savor the vibes a bit more. (If you are feeling a bit rebellious, you could even travel west to east!) Also, you should know that this route meets my top 2 criteria for travel - good food, and plenty of photo opportunities. There's some historical stuff too, but keep it on the down low.
