Malaga, the great unknown

by Anu Viljakainen

No doubt most people associate Malaga with beaches bathed by the waters of the Mediterranean sea. Of course we all like to sunbathe and have a dip in the sea (I do), but Malaga has so much more to offer if you know where to look. I came to Malaga many years ago as a student and I'm still on this same journey. I fell in love with this amazing city and its friendly and authentic people and found my home here. Let me show you my favourite spots of the laid back yet cosmopolitan, traditional yet modern Malaga and be ready to wander along the narrow streets, visit the world famous art museums Malaga is proud to house (just a couple of them!), discover Malaga's rich history, enjoy the local side of life and finally finish the day watching the sunset while sipping a class of wine and enjoying some tapas in one of my very favourite spots of all. Ready to discover my Malaga?
