Hotel Monte Cristo

20 Rue Pascal, 75005 Paris, France

The second opening from independent group Les Hoteliers Impertinents, Hotel Monte Cristo takes both its name and inspiration from Alexandre Dumas’s adventure novel “The Count of Monte Cristo”. Located in the fifth arrondissement, not far from the Jardin des Plantes and the famous Gobelins tapestry factory, this four star hotel designed by Delphine Sauvaget and Pauline d’Hoop pays tribute to the poetic worlds of Dumas. Following their success with sister property C.O.Q Hotel, the talented duo have have sourced over 200 antique items that they placed throughout the rooms and public spaces, from the aged bedroom mirrors to lacquered chinoiseries, a multitude of vases, sumptuous velvets, and a collection of exotic birds. Hotel Monte Cristo is a little piece of 19th-century paradise, in the heart of Paris yet far, far away from the regular tourist…

The gorgeous room 407.

The craftsmanship, the edition of the fabrics with their own prints, the manufacture of furniture and lighting, contributed to this journey through the past.

With a nod to Dumas’ Caribbean roots, the unique Rhum bar invites you to discover bottles from all regions, including vintages and even a beverage created exclusively for the hotel by a top producer.

The indoor pool and sauna framed by exotic plants and oriental décor is a must in Paris after a busy day strolling around the city.
